Hi everyone! Welcome back to the PolicyViz Podcast! On this week’s episode, I’m excited to welcome my Urban Institute colleague Tracy Gordon to the show. Tracy is a senior fellow with the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center, where she researches and writes about fiscal challenges facing state and local governments, including budget tradeoffs, intergovernmental relations, and long-term sustainability. Before joining Urban, Gordon was a senior economist with the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
In this week’s episode, we talk about how to get public policy research to cut through the noise, why it matters, and how to give people good information to make good decisions.
