Episode #93: Robert Kosara

Welcome back to the PolicyViz Podcast! I’m back! After a few weeks off this summer to enjoy the nice weather and time with the family, I’m excited to be back with a whole new slate of guests. Over the next few weeks, you’re going to hear from people who do terrific work in creating data visualizations, giving presentations, and organizing data-communication teams. I also start this week’s show by reflecting on the past few weeks in the U.S., which included terrorist attacks, protests and counter-protests, and natural disasters.

I’m also very excited to have my friend Robert Kosara on this week’s episode. Robert is a research scientist at Tableau software and the author of the long-running data visualization blog, EagerEyes. We talk about Robert’s research on storytelling, which, if you follow podcast and blog, you know is a keen interest of mine.
