Welcome back to this week’s show! This week, I speak with Shomik Sarkar, who is currently a data scientist at the Democratic National Committee and was Director of Reporting for Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president. Shomik and I talk about how they used data and data visualization during the campaign and now at the Democratic National Committee. We also talk about how Shomik helped build a data and data visualization team in the campaign, how the workflow operated, and how data were implemented across different levels of the organization, from field workers to local, state, and federal campaign managers.
And because Shomik likes it so much, a special hat tip to Podington Bear for the intro and outro music.
