Scott Murray is the Principal Learning Scientist at O’Reilly Media. Prior to that work, he was an Assistant Professor of Design at USF. He works with code, data, and computation to design learning experiences and is deeply interested in learning, teaching, design, visualization, art, and culture.
Most recently, Scott launched the Mastadon social channel for the data visualization community, vis.social. So in this week’s episode, we talk about the social media for data visualization, learning platforms, and diversity inclusion. It’s sort of a grab bag of interesting stuff.
If you haven’t seen them yet, I just launched a new Graphic Continuum project–the Match It Game! I think it’s the first data visualization card game of its kind, so check it out in the PolicyViz Shop!
