From chemist to artist to designer, Stephy Lewis used to be a total Adobe snob until she was thrust into the world of presentation design. Ever since, she’s been passionately evangelizing the field in an attempt to elevate our industry as high as its other design counterparts. Stephy is also a web designer and believes that “user experience” isn’t limited to the internet and its principles apply just as strongly to a presentation. She loves PowerPoint almost as much as her kids. Her work can be found at The Presentation Workshop.

In this week’s episode, Stephy and I talk about presentation design, from fonts to data to images.

If you missed it, I just announced three new data visualization workshops coming up over the next few months. I’m teaming up with Brittany Fong in April to give a data visualization & Tableau workshop in DC. I’m then working with Stefanie Posavec in June to give two workshops, one in DC and another in Chicago. More information about all of these workshops can be found on my Public Workshops page.
