Jane Pong is a Data Visualization Journalist at the Financial Times. Previously, she produced information graphics at Thomson Reuters in Singapore and South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. She is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a combined Arts/Science degree, majoring in psychology, linguistics, and chemistry. In this week’s episode, Jane and I talk about her work at these different organizations, our shared appreciation of tile grid maps, and the difference in information density in Asian cultures and Western cultures.
