In early September, Severino Ribecca and I released a poster-sized version of The Graphic Continuum, a collection of the wide array of visualization types. In it, we plotted over 80 different graphics across six main categories: Distribution, Time, Comparing Categories, Geospatial, Part-to-Whole, and Relationships. The Graphic Continuum does not include every type of graphic, nor does it display every link between visualizations, but we view it as a thought-starter.
We are very thankful for all the support we have received from the data visualization community for our efforts to create this new resource. The Graphic Continuum was featured on Visual.ly, CoolInfographics, Visual Loop, and was named a shortlist finalist for this year’s Information is Beautiful Awards.
But a 24″ x 36″ poster-size version of an visualization won’t fit on everyone’s wall. That’s why today we are releasing a desktop version of The Graphic Continuum. We’ve reorganized the space to fit on a full-color, double-sided, laminated 8.5″ x 11″ page.
The desktop version of the Graphic Continuum is now on sale for $13 (plus a flat-rate $2 for domestic shipping and $4 for international shipping).
Yes! Thanks for making this smaller version. I’m going to frame it for my office wall. But which side to frame….? Maybe I’ll need two…
Is there a PDF I can download?
Hi Nick,
No, sorry, we have not published a PDF version of this desktop sheet. You can check it out and other Graphic Continuum items in the shop: https://policyviz.com/shop/
Thanks,
Jon
